Siddharth Bhargava

Co-Founder & Chief Investment Officer

Siddharth is the Co-Founder & Chief Investment Officer for Catalyst Alts which was previously established as SC Credit, a joint venture for alternative credit investing with private equity firm Samena Capital. He has over 20 years of investing experience in India and the Asia Pacific region. Prior to launching SC Credit Fund in 2017, he was heading India credit trading and managed the non-Japan Asia illiquid investments for Asia Credit Trading at Goldman Sachs Asia, Hong Kong since 2008. He was a Director with the Principal Credit Group (US$4.0 billion AUM) at Merrill Lynch and D.B. Zwirn & Co, a New York headquartered ~US$6.0 billion global credit and special situations fund, focusing on investments in India and South East Asia. He started his career with ANZ Investment Bank in India and London and subsequently joined ABN Amro in Hong Kong focused on M&A in the telecoms, media and technology sectors.

Siddharth holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with honours from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
